Things that Interest Me

I like listing these in alphabetical order even though I don’t have OCD (okay I might on some things).

Since 2023, my date nights included things like billiards, karaoke, and walking. I can remember being a child and going on hikes with Grandpa. One particular hike sticks with me (no pun intended). 

When my family would go to visit them in the Blue Ridge Mountains, he and I would hike High Windy. At the top is a mica pit thus my liking for things found in nature.

Growing up, going on vacation meant packing that tent and tarps. How we ever fit a family into a four-person tent, I’ll never know. My first experience with kayaking was one of our trips to Vermont. Boy did I have fun!

Along with singing karaoke, we owned a piano growing up so I learned to play by ear. When I got older and started working at camp, I picked up an interest in the guitar. The only thing I fret is when my G-string breaks. 

Having a home of our own, I decided we would have a monthly gathering of friends to play games. The group varies each month (gotta keep these things small and manageable!)
